It's just one of those days.

Here are my four loves. We are just enjoying a fun lazy day at home while the kids are on Christmas break. Today is just one of those great days where everybody is getting along and everybody is happy. I feel so very blessed today.

The kids did not wake up until 7:58 today!! I can't believe it. Santa did something fun this year having the kids go on a scavenger hunt around the house looking for which wrapping paper was theirs. They quickly figured it out and started ripping away at their presents. Everybody got the number one gift on their list, therefore everybody was happy. The morning was followed by a big breakfast at home and even more gifts from Grandpa and Grandma. 

Everett's First Birthday Bash!

We had an amazing celebration for Everett's first birthday last weekend. We were also celebrating beautiful Kaiah's 3rd birthday as well. It is always great getting everybody we love together in one place. I can't believe a whole year has passed. He will always be my baby but he is now entering the world of toddler. I have cherished every moment of snuggling, hugging and kissing him. I know he will quickly be to busy for his mama. He is a wild, wild boy. So glad my good friend Lindsey was able to capture these pictures of us.

I Can't Believe It!

I can not believe that Everett is 1. This year has flown by. I can not express how perfectly this little boy fits into our family. 

Everett, You truly make each and every day a joy. You are already a little spitfire and you are constantly making us laugh. We have all loved watching you grow and reach all your milestones. You are so smart and very opinionated. You are a guys guy. If a girl tries to hold you, you cry. You love the outdoors. You are my first baby to put everything in your mouth. Everything. You are so curious. You are a great hugger. I melt when you wrap your arm around my neck and and snuggle with me. When I feed you or when you are tired you pinch me. It hurts and I have little scabs on my chest and my arms but it is comforting to you so I don't mind. I'm trying to cherish every moment with you because you are growing so fast. You never rolled over, you would just try to do a sit up, it was so funny!. You started sitting at about 7 months. Crawling at 8 months. Pulling yourself up at 9 months and walking at 10 months. When I would check on you at night you'd always be sleeping on you back with your hands under you back. So cute and cozy. You love dogs and balls, you say "uh-oh" when you drop something, you love Ashton and want him to hold you, and you just started to wave bye-bye.  Every day with you is a joy and I am so lucky to be you mommy. You complete our family and my life. I am so excited to watch you grow up. Love you, Mom

Getting big.

I'm big on my little ones being comfortable yet cute. Which translates into: no jeans on  my tiny  babies. Since Ev is getting bigger and now a pro walker I got him some skinny jeans. I can't stop smiling he looks so cute! And pouting because he looks so old. But smiling wins. He's so handsome.
