Three years ago today....

.....a handsome little man was born.
--
Happy Birthday Owen Michael. Owen is our undeniably cute and super feisty kid. He always has some delightful phrase coming out of his mouth. Such as when he had just turned two and he would say "I can't my back hurts" when we would ask to do something he didn't want to do. He was a very early and very good talker and therefore has always seed a bit older. He also loves things. By that I mean be gets attached to stuff easily. At any given time in his bed you could find his blanky (always), this favorite doggy stuffed animals(two of them), a few T-shirts(I have to put his clothes away quickly to avoid this), trucks, cars, motorcycles, and balls (of all sizes). And I can't stress enough how much Owen love shoes. At one time we went through a phase were he would wear his shoes during his nap(pick your battles). He has two favorite stride rite pairs that he must always wear. And if you say hi to him at the store will most definitely start to tell you about the color of his tennis shoes.
--
He is the middle child so he has to have the wild side to make sure he gets an adequate amount of attention. He loves to throw rocks in the Maumee River with his dad, wrestle, and play basketball(he's all boy). Seriously, this kid can dribble like no other. He was equal to Ashton by 18 months and he keeps getting better. A star in the making.
--
He is also a great big brother. Between the silliness to make Carly laugh and the roughhousing to make Carly tough, what more could I ask for. And poor Ashton took several beatings during Owen's hitting phase.
--
He is a charming little man.
(Pictures of our birthday celebration to follow.)

Summertime. 15 months.

This is the moment I have been waiting for! To be able to put Sissy in an adorable romper. I think these are just the cutest outfits. I love the little leg rolls and her wobbley walk. And her hair is finally long enough to put in a ponytail. Yeah. Having a girl is fun, but totally different than boys. Even at this young age. She is already much more emotional and the way she plays is totally different. Don't be fooled by the pretty little face she is not all that innocent. She definatley knows how to work it to get her way. She does not talk really at all but she can communicate what she wants very well. She is a little bit Ashton and a little bit Owen and a lot of Carly. She will just melt your heart.

Remember....

when it was super cool if your sucker turned your tongue blue?

Thanks Grandma and Papa.

My mom and dad took Owen on a special trip to the store to get his very first bike. What is even cuter than seeing him ride this bike you ask? Well that would be hearing him call it a bicycle. He says "Mom, can I go ride my bicycle please?" or "I love my new bicycle." It is official he is a big boy now!

Whoa!

Carly woke up from her nap with this stunning hairstyle.

One down. Ninteen to go.

Literally, Ashton's tooth was hanging by a thread. Just one quick yank and it was out. It was loose forever and for weeks he just kept saying, "Mom pull my tooth out." I tried unsuccessfully a few times. I think I was more nervous about pulling it out and hurting him than he was. I had become so loose that Ryan and I both looked at Ashton yesterday and thought his tooth had fallen out because it was hanging down so far you couldn't see it.

The tooth fairy brought him $3.50. She really had no idea how much a tooth goes for these days. But the three dollars did not matter to much because he kept telling everybody he got fifty cents.

Lazy mornings.

I love lazy days when we just laugh and have fun. Jammies can stay on all day, nothing is scheduled, and anything goes. This is what life is about, slowing down and enjoying each other.

Things I hate right now.

1. That I am planning on spending the next three days cleaning and organizing my house.
2. My job.
3. That I can never blog because I always spend to much time reading everybody else's blog, then it is bed time.
4. My short hair. (I do this every time I cut my hair. I love short hair on other girls, love it. So every couple years I get the urge to chop all my hair off. Then when I do I realize that I have to actually do my hair every time I get out of the shower. This does not work for my lifestyle. In that sense I am very low maintenance. I do not want to use a round brush every time I blow dry my hair. And NO I can not let it air dry. It is to frizzy!Ugh.)
5. That I NEVER have enough time to workout.
6. My wardrobe.
7. Facestat. (Somebody had the nerve to say something mean about my daughter. That is F*#@ed up. Be mean to me not a 14 month old. What a sad life they live.)

IT IS ONE OF THOSE DAYS.
